Eyebrow Piercing
Eyebrow piercings are generally vertical (or almost vertical) piercings anywhere through the ridge of the eyebrow — most piercers believe you can get "perfect" placement visually if the angle of the piercing points to basically where a labret would be (forming a virtual triangle on the face). Jewelry is usually 18ga to 12ga rings or barbells. Eyebrow piercings are considered surface piercings, and have a tendancy to reject over a period of a few years. Less commonly horizontal eyebrow piercings are done along the length of the eyebrow, and sometimes surface piercings are done past the arc of the eyebrow (temple piercings), or on the orbit below the eye rather than above (anti-eyebrow piercings). |
